The Trenton Thunder partnered with the New York Yankees to celebrate HOPE Week. HOPE Week, which stands for Helping Others Persevere & Excel, is a five-day initiative that honors a different individual, family, or organization that has given of themselves to make their community a better place. After being visited by and sharing their stories with Thunder Players and Front Office staff, each honoree's experience culminated with a visit to Waterfront Park. The Thunder organization traveled to Every Child Valued in Lawrenceville to meet with founder Fred Vereen and share his story.
