When Cassandra Riggins moved to Eggerts Crossing Village in 2004, she had big dreams for herself and her daughters. Since that time, Ms. Riggins has completed her associates degree at Mercer County Community College and her bachelor's degree at Rider University.
While working and going to school, she has also seen to it that her daughters, Aaliyah and Valandra, followed her example. Aaliyah graduated from Montclair State University. She is the first in her family to go directly from high school to college. Ms. Riggins' second daughter, Valandra, now attends The College of New Jersey on a full academic scholarship.
